La Fundació Champagnat, on s'agrupen les escoles Maristes, ha reclamat formalment al govern espanyol i al Congrés que es canviï el Codi Penal perquè no prescriguin els delictes d'abusos a menors. Ho expliquen en una carta que, segons l'ACN, han enviat a 10.000 famílies d'alumnes. Justament la setmana passada, però, els advocats dels Maristes havien demanat que es considerin prescrites 14 de les 16 denúncies contra el seu exprofessor i pederasta confés Joaquín Benítez.
